CHIEF OLUSEGUN OBASANJO CHAIR
IN AFRICAN INTEGRATION
Applications are invited from
interested individuals, Nigerians and non-Nigerians, for the
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo Chair in African Integration at the
Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA). The position is
for a non-renewable period of 2 (two) years.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE
POSITION
The responsibilities of the Chair
would include Initiating research projects, Conducting Seminars,
writing Policy Papers, in the area of African Integration, African
Development, Intra-African Relations, African Politics,
International Law, International Economic Relations, African
Regional Organizations, NEPAD and other relevant areas of
contemporary concern.
QUALIFICATION
Applicants for the position
should be Professors of repute in International Relations, Political
Science, International Law, Economics and related disciplines or
persons who have had outstanding career in diplomatic, public or
private service with experience and track record of academic
excellence and Public service.
